Meet Lt. Col. Stuart Jolly - Our New EVP
We're proud to announce that Lt. Col. Stuart Jolly has joined the Compact for America team as Executive Vice President of Development!
With LTC Jolly's leadership, we expect incredible things! Here's why:
Stuart Jolly served as the National Field Director for the Donald J. Trump for President for the first 7 months of the campaign responsible for national political strategy and hiring in all Primary & Caucus states. He personally ran NH, SC, and NC and won 22 state primaries and caucuses leading up to the NY primary.
Jolly is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army where he served as an Aviation officer flying UH‐60 Blackhawks in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY and 3rd Infantry Division in Europe. He served with distinction as a Company Commander in Germany and as a Foreign Area Officer in the Defense Attaché Office (DAO) in the US Embassy in Brussels, Belgium. LTC Jolly is also a Veteran of the Gulf War where he earned a Bronze Star and two Air Medals for his service in Iraq.
In addition, Jolly has served on the Board of Directors of Hoosiers for Quality Education in Indiana, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) 501c4 board, the Oklahoma City Men’s Dinner Club, Education Choice Coalition of Oklahoma (ECCO), United Precious Metals Association (UPMA), and a Founding Board member of Oklahoma Connections Academy.
From 2006‐2013 Jolly helped launch a Koch Foundation project called Americans for Prosperity. He was Oklahoma’s State Director for over 6 years where it grew from just under 1200 members to over 26,000 in 2012. AFP focuses on free‐market issues across the state and country and is the premier grassroots organization in the United States.
LTC Jolly has served as the Professor of Military Science and Adjunct Professor lecturing in courses on Military Tactics, Leadership, and Personal Finance with the College of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma, and was awarded the “Adjunct Teaching Excellence Award” in 2011.
He’s written numerous articles and op‐eds and has been published or quoted in over 30 media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, National Review Online (NRO), Politico, ABC, CNN, FOX, AP, MSNBC, The Oklahoman, Tulsa World, and numerous other magazines, newspapers, and publications, and has appeared in dozens of media outlets across the state and nation including FOX News, CBS, ABC, and NBC.
Stuart holds degrees and is a graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, SC (BA Political Science) and a Masters Degree in International Studies in Business from East Carolina University in North Carolina. And from the military, Jolly is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute (DLI) at the Presidio of Monterey, California, the US Army Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Most recently, Stuart assisted the Gary Sinise Foundation in building a “Smart Home” for Oklahoma’s only triple amputee and Veteran from the war in Afghanistan. The dinner, Forrest Gump showing, and fundraiser resulted in the building of a Smart Home and 700 people attending the dinner from all across the country. Jay Leno, Bill O’Reilly, Gary Sinise, LTC & Rep Steve Russell, and President George W. Bush personally donated items to this effort.
Stuart and his wife Marcia of 29 years are blessed with two daughters and a son, Savannah, Madison, and Alex, and reside in Edmond, Oklahoma.
